Best Magic Kingdom Dining

by Darren Wittko

Magic Kingdom restaurants are well themed but the high prices and low quality will leave some diners disappointed. You'll find better dining options at the the nearby hotels (Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian) just a monorail ride away. Magic Kingdom restaurants featured on this page require Theme Park admission and do participate in the Disney Dining Plans: 1 Table Service credit or 1 Quick Service Credit respectively.

Best Table Service Dining

Be Our Guest Restaurant | Fantasyland

Be Our guest restaurant

Undoubtedly the most popular restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort. Reservations will book up 180 days in advance. The atmosphere will impress. Tip: Lunch is Quick Service and costs much less and offers a similar experience. The first and only restaurant to offer wine at Magic Kingdom Park.

Fantasyland |  Quick Service breakfast, lunch.

Hot and cold sandwiches like the Philly cheese steak and turkey club. Salads are done well, try the chicken-strawberry salad. The victorian decor is "cute" but it offers a prime view of Cinderella Castle. Save room for the banana-split, a classic here!

Hearty New-England style menu. For lunch, potroast sliced turkey dinner or meat platter. Dinner is all-you-can-eat turkey, roast pork, and potatoes, served family style. Popular. Character Meal for dinner only. The food is good but it can be a heavy meal.

Best Quick Service Dining

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe | Tomorrowland

Cosmic ray's starlight cafe

This "something for everyone" quick service is located in the heart of Tomorrowland. The rotisserie chicken dinner is filling and a great value. Salads are done well too. Gets crowded during peak times but Cast Members may assist you in finding a table.

Tomorrowland | Lunch and Dinner

Fried fish, lobster roll, soups, and sandwiches. The more "healthy quick service option" at Magic Kingdom.  Grilled salmon and couscous. Try the Lighthouse Sandwich. Plenty of seating on the second floor.
